Introducing
powerful NEW enhancements to our "Concrete Thickness
and Flaw Gauges" — the CTG 1T-SW and
the CTG1TF-SW for
testing concrete thickness, integrity and quality.
The two models listed above incorporate the capabilities
of our existing CTG, but adds a 20cm long arm to the front of the test
head with a second displacement transducer to also allow for Spectral
Analysis of Surface Wave testing.
The main advantage of the CTG-1T-SW Model is that it can
be used to calibrate the concrete velocity for thickness tests using the CTG without requiring a corehole. This unit can also be used to collect simple SASW data to allow subsequent office analysis of the data (using included WINTFS software) to estimate surface-opening crack depth and concrete quality versus depth. It will display
a plot of velocity vs. wavelength on its screen (dispersion curve) with a quality factor for the uniformity
of the velocity result for the concrete depth range of
interest. It can also be used for correlating strength
vs. velocity in the field to laboratory tests of concrete specimens (cubes,
beams or cylinders) with Impact Echo (IE) or Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity
(UPV) measurements.
The CTG-1TF-SW Model combines
Impact Echo (IE) thickness/flaw detection with SASW velocity
measurement for the most powerful concrete thickness, concrete integrity
and concrete quality testing, hands down. |
